Vienna / Munich — YouCon EDV Dienstleistungs GmbH, an IT-service provider and consulting company with subsidiaries in Vienna and Munich today announces LinkThat Cube is compliant with key contact center and unified communications solutions from Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communication software and services.

“Being compatible with Avaya is a milestone for our company and the LinkThat Cube”, said Peter Kugler, CEO of LinkThat. “It demonstrates our innovative potential and the reliability of our technology, and provides our customers with confidence that our solution can be deployed in an Avaya Aura environment. We are proud that the LinkThat Cube meets the expectations of Avaya, which is known for high standards and future-oriented thinking”.

The LinkThat Cube offers essential CTI-middleware functionality and connects heterogeneous telephone systems with several applications from SAP and other software vendors. The solution delivers proven interoperability with Avaya’s unified communications and contact center portfolio, so that companies can easily integrate their communications infrastructure with business process software and workflow applications.

“Technology partners like LinkThat are helping Avaya customers to get more out of their telecommunications infrastructure”, said Eric Rossman, vice president of Developer Relations at Avaya. “Solutions such as the LinkThat Cube provide customers the flexibility they need in today’s global business environment. The LinkThat Cube helps improve the customer experience and streamline communications processes within organizations.”

The LinkThat Cube with SAP Module 1.4.0, Avaya Contact Centre Module 1.0.0 and SAP CRM Client 7 EP1 application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya AuraŽ Communication Manager 6.3 and Avaya AuraŽ Application Enablement Services 6.3.

There are already several companies in Europe benefiting from the interoperability of LinkThat and Avaya solutions although the technology from LinkThat has just been introduced to the market.

LinkThat is also a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.

As a Technology Partner, LinkThat is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
